The Washington County Recreation Department provides county-wide recreation
programs for youth ages five(5) to eighteen(18). We offer a variety of
programs year-round that encourage the development of positive attitudes while
focusing on teamwork.
The goal of the Recreation Department is to
provide activities that increase each child's self-confidence and respect for
self and others while establishing and maintaining a fitness level that
encourages life-long habits to promote good health.
The Washington Co. Recreation Department
participates in athletic events throughout eastern North Carolina. Volunteers
and Mentors are needed in every sport/activity.
